IRVINE, Calif. -- The Denver Pioneers scored three goals in a span of 11:42 in the second half to knock off UC Irvine 3-1 in a non-league match at Anteater Stadium.

Jon Spencer opened up the scoring for the Anteaters with a short boot off a corner kick from Saul Wolf at the 7:40 mark. The lead would carry into the 55th minute when Denver substitute Brian Kneuer tied the game on a direct kick.

Less than five minutes later, Matt Harrell would score the eventual game winner, followed by the insurance from Dag-Christian Olsen in the 67th minute.

MPSF action resumes on Sunday (Oct.15) at 4:00 p.m., as UCI takes a 0-0-1 league mark to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
