Baldwin Takes First-Ever MPSF Player of the Week

WOODLAND, Calif. - Senior midfielder Patience Baldwin (Baltimore, Md.) was named the first-ever Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week on Wednesday (Feb. 25) after averaging four points, five shots, two ground balls, two caused turnovers and a draw control and against the Saint Mary's (CA) Gaels and the California Bears last week.

Baldwin finished the week scoring seven goals and assisting on another, helping the Pioneers to a 1-1 record.

Against the Gaels, Baldwin had three goals on six shots. She also collected four groundballs and caused two turnovers.

Against the Bears, Baldwin had four goals on four shots and an assist. She also collected one groundball and one draw control.

For the season, Baldwin is leading the Pioneers in points (10), goals (7) and assists (1) and is in the top-three in shots (10), groundballs (5) and caused turnovers (2).
