After a Novak power-play goal tied the game at 2-2 at 17:53 of the third period, Ben Hanowski was whistled for goaltender interference at the final horn that gave DU a power play to start overtime.

Shore redirected his team-leading fourth game-winning goal past Faragher from the low shot 79 seconds into the extra session as DU finished 3-for-6 with the man-advantage. Joey LaLeggia (Burnaby, B.C.) and Nick Shore (Denver, Colo.) assisted on the game-winning tally.

Zucker tapped in a Drew Shore pass at the right post to give DU a 1-0 lead on the power play at 3:50 of the first period. David Makowski (Wildwood, Mo.) started the play with his eight assist.
