TUCSON, Ariz. - No. 46 Arizona beat No. 48 Denver, 5-2, in men's tennis action Sunday at LaNelle Robson Tennis Center. The Wildcats improved to 5-3 with the win, while the Pioneers fell to 2-5 with their second straight loss.
Arizona swept the three doubles matches and clinched the match with Andre Vidaller's 6-2, 7-5 win over Alex Clinkenbeard at No. 5 singles.
No. 44 Enej Bonin (Koper, Slovenia) beat Jay Goldman 7-6(3), 6-3 at No. 1 singles and Andrew Landwerlen (Las Cruces, N.M.) beat Giamcomo Miccini at No. 4 singles.
Denver returns to action at BYU on Friday, Feb. 25.
