College Sports Madness Names Seven Pioneers All-Conference

DENVER – University of Denver senior Zach Bolden (Denver, Colo.) earns the Summit League Offensive Player of the Year, senior Theodor Remman (Hosle, Norway) is voted Defensive Player of the Year and head coach Bobby Muuss takes home Coach of the Year honors, according to College Sports Madness.

Bolden, Remman, senior Cole Chapleski (Broomfield, Colo.) and junior Oliver Brown (Louisville, Ky.) were each named to the All-League First Team. Additionally, redshirt junior Reid Hukari (Wheat Ridge, Colo.), junior Brian Hoyt (Tempe, Ariz.) and senior Blair Jeralds (Clemmons, N.C.) were named to the All-League Second Team.

Denver is 11-3-3 overall this season and completed a sweep of Summit League opponents in regular season play, 6-0-0. The Pioneers joined Eastern Illinois (1983), Milwaukee (1993) and Howard (1993) as the only teams sin the Summit League to complete regular season conference play without a loss or a tie.

The top-seeded Pioneers take on No. 4 seed IUPUI in the Summit League semifinals on Friday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. MT. The winner advance to the conference championships against the winner of Oral Roberts and tournament host Western Illinois. The conference championship is Sunday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. MT.

The winner of The Summit League Tournament will receive an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
