DENVER - The University of Denver’s Highlands Ranch Golf Club is offering an array of summer options for youths ages 5-17.  

The available programs are designed to accommodate players of all abilities and help develop lifelong skills in the sport of golf. The selection includes:

Little Pioneers Intro Golf Clinics

Designed for 5-7 year olds, these 30-minute clinics introduce beginners to the game of golf.

June 18, 25 (9:30 - 10 a.m.)

July 9, 16, 23 (9:30 - 10 a.m.)

Junior Pioneers Camp

Designed for 12-18 year olds and open to junior golfers interested in receiving advanced instruction and learning game strategy. The camp will cover all aspects of the game, including full swing, putting, chipping, pitching, sand shots, rules and etiquette, scoring and more.

June 10 (12:30-4:30 p.m.)
June 11, 12 (8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.)
June 13 (8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)

Junior Golf Camps

Designed for 8-15 year olds with a healthy interest in golf, the camps emphasize the fundamentals of golf, rules, etiquette and playing strategy. Camps provide four one-hour sessions on the same weekday each month.

June - Wednesdays or Thursdays (9:00-10:00 a.m.)

July - Tuesdays or Wednesdays (9:00-10:00 a.m.)

August - Wednesdays or Thursdays (5:00-6:00 p.m.)

Junior League

The Highlands Ranch Golf Club’s 2013 junior league is open to golfers 7-17 years old and runs through July 23.This year's league features the following member benefits:

·         seven weeks of seven-hole play

·         three rules and etiquette sessions

·         five instructional clinics

·         parent/child play day

·         range balls

·         end of league pizza party

June 11 through July 23 - Tuesdays (5:30 p.m.)

In addition to these summer programs, the course will host a Highlands Ranch Golf Club Junior Championship Tuesday, July 30. All junior golfers ages 7-17 are invited to participate. The championship includes four-, nine- and 18-hole events.
