EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – University of Denver Deputy Athletic Directors Brandon Macneill and Josh Boone have been named to the Silver Waves Media Top 100 Rising ADs/Future ADs list released on Tuesday.
 
Macneill was named Associate Vice Chancellor for External Affairs in 2017 and was elevated to Deputy AD and Chief Operating Officer in 2020, heading Denver's facilities management. He serves as the primary sport supervisor for men's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's skiing. Macneill was the chair of the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Selection Committee in 2023. Prior to his arrival in the Mile High City, Macneill served as the in an external affairs role at Tulane University where he worked between 2008 and 2017.
 
Boone joined the Denver staff in 2019 and serves as the Deputy AD for Strategy and is the Chief Financial Officer for the athletic department. Prior to joining the Pioneers, Boone spent seven years in the administration at the University of Miami and seven years in the athletic business operations office at the University of North Carolina before that.
