MPSF Preseason Coaches Poll

DENVER
- The University of Denver women's lacrosse team will open the new season as the number one ranked team in the MPSF followed by Stanford and USC. The Pioneers earned 79 points in the poll and received seven out of the ten first place votes.

" The MPSF has truly become a top conference in women's lacrosse," said women's head coach Liza Kelly. " We are looking forward to kicking off our season next week and are excited for our 2015 team to earn our opponent's respect."

The Pioneers will open the season with three tough road tilts beginning Saturday February 7th at Syracuse.

After Syracuse, the Pioneers play at Colorado and Vanderbilt before opening at home against Louisville on February 28th. The game against the Cardinals marks the first of four consecutive home games at Peter Barton Stadium.
