Denver Rises Back to Eighth in NCAA RPI

DENVER -
The University of Denver men's soccer team is off to a 10-0-2 start in 2015 and is in eighth in the NCAA Men's Soccer RPI that was released on Monday morning. In the two Monday polls, the Pioneers moved back up a spot to eighth in the College Soccer News Poll and moved up two spots back to ninth in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll.

Denver's highest national ranking in any poll both this year and in its program history is eighth, while its highest ranking in the Ratings Power Index (RPI) is seventh.

The Pioneers had a 2-0 week this week, defeating RPI top-30 Gonzaga 2-1 on Monday night at CIBER Field, before topping previous league leaders Oral Roberts in Tulsa 1-0 on Saturday night.

DU is one of three teams in the nation still unbeaten, and one of 32 teams still unbeaten at home in 2015. The Crimson and Gold currently have a 25 match home unbeaten streak, the longest active, and the 15th longest in NCAA history.

UP NEXT:The Pioneers will host Omaha on Homecoming Saturday with kickoff set for 7 p.m. MT at CIBER Field. Denver enters the week atop the Summit League table with seven points, while Omaha sits in third with four points.
