April 24, 2017 IWLCA Poll | Cascade Media Poll | US LAX Magazine Rankings
DENVER - Following only the third loss of the 2017 campaign, the University of Denver women's lacrosse program took a few steps back in the IWLCA Coaches' and Cascade Media Poll, coming in at No. 16 in both rankings after a hard-fought 9-7 defeat at the hands of Georgetown.
DU also stumbled in the US Lacrosse Magazine rankings, coming in at No. 20 to round out the weekly polls. Despite the setback, the Pioneers have already punched their ticket to the 2017 BIG EAST Tournament set to start on May 4 in Villanova, Pa.
Denver will wrap up the regular season this Friday, April 28, with its Senior Day contest against Cincinnati. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m. MT and will be broadcast live on Altitude with Brad Thompson and Megan Zeman on the call.
