• The Pioneers averaged 73.1 points per game in 2017-18.
• Denver shot 47.3 percent from the field last season, second in the Summit League.
• The Pioneers limited their foes to 43.4 percent shooting last season.
• DU stopped teams from being effective from deep, holding opponents to just 33.5 percent shooting from 3 in 2017-18.
• Denver knocked down 7.0 3s a game last season.
• The Pioneers connected from beyond the arc at a 40.0 percent clip last season, good for first in the Summit League.
• DU out-rebounded its opponents by 6.0 a game, first in the Summit League.
• Denver handed out 15.1 assists per game in last year.
• Senior
Joe Rosga led the team in scoring, putting up 16.1 points a night for DU, that also ranked seventh in the Summit League.
• Rosga ranked fourth in the Summit League in 3s made per game, knocking down 2.4 a contest.
• Rosga was automatic from the foul line last year, making 90.1 percent of his free throws, the highest percentage in the Summit League.
Maine Notes:
• The Black Bears are coming off a 6-25 season in 2017-18.
• Head coach Richard Barron is in his first season at the helm of the program.
• Maine averaged 66.9 points per game last year.
• The Black Bears shot 40.8 percent from the field as a team in 2017-18.
• Maine made 7.0 3s per contest last season.
• The Black Bears pulled down 35.3 boards a game last year.
• Maine handed out only 11.8 assists a game as a team in 2017-18.
• The Black Bears struggled with holding onto the ball, turning it over 15.5 times a night in last season.
• Maine recorded 6.4 steals per game last year.
The Long Ranger:
• DU has at least one 3-pointer in 374 straight games, dating back to Feb. 2, 2006.
Lucky Number Seven:
• The Crimson and Gold bring in seven new faces in 2018-19, five freshmen and two graduate transfers.

Jase Townsend (Dallas, Texas),
Alperen Kurnaz (Istanbul, Turkey),
David Nzekwesi (Fort Worth, Texas) and
Joseph Lanzi (Birmingham, Ala.).

Tory Stewart-Miller (Colorado) and
Ronnie Harrell Jr. (Creighton) join the Pioneers after playing at Power-5 schools the last four years.
• Stewart-Miller played for Coach Billups while with the Buffaloes from 2014-16.
• Harrell Jr. is a Denver native who played his high-school ball at Denver East and was an ESPN Top-100 player during his senior year.
