DENVER – The University of Denver men's basketball program has signed former Southern Idaho forward Charlie Dimmock for the 2026-27 season, head coach Tim Bergstraser announced on Monday.
Dimmock played in 34 games for Southern Idaho last season, starting 24. The new Denver power forward averaged 5.7 points and pulled down 3.3 rebounds per game. The Australian scored in double figures in six games in his freshman campaign.
This marks Bergstraser's eighth offseason signing, joining Oskar Wickström Stümer (April 17), Trey Cady (April 27), Baba Mbengue (May 7), CJ Hyland (May 8), Harry Bates (May 9), Kam Martin (May 9) and Jordan Rogers (May 11).

High school team MVP in 2022 and 2023...Played his club basketball for Cockburn Cougars in NBL1, where he earned several MVP awards…Scored 50 points in back-to-back games in his high school career.

Chose the University of Denver because the coaching staff made him feel welcome, and he'd love to play in the city of Denver and see what it's all about…Career goal is to be financially free…Also enjoys fishing, video games, hiking and hanging out at the beach.
