GRESHAM, Ore. – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs concluded the 2018 Senior Sectionals with a runner-up 400 medley relay finish and sophomore
Sid Farber's (Portland, Ore.) 50 free victory in his home state on Sunday night at Mt. Hood Community College.
Farber was one of seven DU men's swimmers to reach the 50 free finals on Sunday, including five Pioneers that booked their ticket to the A-Final. The Denver sophomore reached the wall first with a 22.55, assistant coach
Kyle Robrock clocked in at 23.49 to take second, freshman
Cameron Auchinachie (Binghamton, N.Y.) took fourth with a 23.78, sophomore
Robin Kuebler (Centennial, Colo.) tied Auchinachie in fourth and freshman
Jackson Gainer (San Jose, Calif.) finished seventh with a 23.90.
Denver's men finished second in the 400 medley relay to open up the final night of competition. Auchinachie, Robrock, Farber and sophomore
Hugo Sykes (Weston, Conn.) combined for a time of 3:52.72.

Josie Valette (Boulder, Colo.) booked a spot in an A-Final for the fourth-consecutive night, earning a fifth-place finish in the 50 free with a 26.71.
