VIEW THE COMPLETE 2018-2019 SCHEDULE

DENVER – The Denver Pioneers have announced their complete 34-game hockey schedule for the 2018-2019 regular season, featuring 17 home games at Magness Arena, Richard and Kitzia Goodman Head Coach David Carle announced on Tuesday.

The Pioneers will open the season on the road at Air Force on Oct. 12 before returning to Magness Arena for Homecoming against Alabama Huntsville on Oct. 13. Denver will host Alaska-Fairbanks Oct. 19-20, pitting Carle, an Alaska native, as well as former UAF head coaches and current Pioneer assistant coaches, Tavis MacMillan and Dallas Ferguson, against the Nanooks.

For the first time since 2015, Denver will matchup against Providence and Wisconsin. The Pioneers will reunite with the Friars Nov. 23-24 at Magness Arena and will travel to Madison, Wis., to face the Badgers, a former WCHA foe, Jan. 4-5.

Denver will begin National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) play and host Alumni Weekend against Western Michigan on Nov. 2-3 before traveling to St. Cloud, Minn., to face the 2018 Julie & Spencer Penrose Cup Champion Huskies Nov. 9-10. The Pioneers will return from St. Cloud to Magness Arena for Parents' Weekend against the 2018 National Champion Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs Nov. 16-17.

The North Dakota-Denver rivalry will resume in Grand Forks, N.D., on Dec. 7-8 and in Denver Feb. 1-2. The Battle for the Gold Pan will continue with home-and-home series against Colorado College Jan 18-19 and March 8-9.

The Pioneers will complete their non-conference schedule with games against Merrimack on Dec. 28 and UMass Lowell on Dec. 29.

Denver will host the University of Alberta for an exhibition on Oct. 6. Game times will be announced at a later date.
