DENVER – The University of Denver Division of Athletics and Recreation announced upgrades to Magness Arena on Thursday, ahead of the top-ranked hockey team in the country's home opener against No. 6 Boston College on Friday at 7 p.m. MT (NCHC TV/104.3 The Fan). There are still limited tickets remaining for both of the match-ups with BC this weekend, but student tickets are sold out.
 
In partnership with Breckenridge Brewery, Denver is happy to introduce a new bar located behind section seven that will offer a variety of Breckenridge products as well as a small menu that will include burgers, fries and mini pizzas.
 
Throughout the arena, Denver will be offering a variety of 505 Southwestern salsas, the perfect topping for nachos, burgers and hotdogs.
 
To better the flow of traffic on the west concourse, home of another newly remodeled concession stand this offseason, the Pioneer Team Store will now be located behind section six on the north concourse.
