Pioneers Travel to Utah for Meeting with No. 17/19 Aggies

First meeting between two teams since 2013

Last Time Out
• The Pioneers took down Utah Valley, 74-62, in their home opener on Saturday at Magness Arena.
• Denver was powered by a strong defensive performance, especially on the perimeter, holding the Wolverines to just 21.7 percent (5-for-23) from beyond the arc.
Joseph Lanzi had his best outing for DU, scoring a career-high 20 points off the bench.
Jase Townsend found his offense as well, chipping in with 18 points to go with five rebounds.
• The Crimson and Gold had it going from deep, connecting on 58.3 percent of its shots from 3 (7-for-12), a season best.
• Denver also got a spark from freshman big man Robert Jones early, who scored a season-high eight points off the bench in 18 minutes.
• The Pioneers' seven turnovers in the contest were also a season low.

Lanzi's Big Day
• Lanzi had a career day on Nov. 9 against Utah Valley. 
• The Birmingham, Ala. native scored a career-best 20 points in the win.
• Lanzi was a perfect 4-for-4 from beyond the arc.
• Overall, he finished with a super-efficient 8-for-9 shooting performance.

The Long Ranger
• DU has made at least one 3-pointer in 406 straight games, dating back to Feb. 2, 2006.
