David Nzekwesi looks to build on a promising freshman campaign, where he posted averages of 8.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
About Colorado State
• The Rams are coming off a 12-20 record last year.
• Colorado State averaged 74.8 points per game as a team last season, good for fifth in the Mountain West.
• CSU allowed 75.2 points a night, eighth in the Mountain West.
• The Rams shot 47.6 percent from the field last season, tops in the Mountain West.
• Teams were able to find success shooting against Colorado State, knocking down 45.5 percent from the field, 10th in the Mountain West.Â
• CSU handed out 14.8 assists per game last season, second most in the Mountain West.
• The Rams got into the passing lanes, swiping 6.2 steals a contest, third highest in the Mountain West.
• Nico Carvacho was a force in the middle for Colorado State, averaging a team-high 16.1 points a game, good for seventh in the Mountain West.
• Carvacho was a beast on the boards, leading the country in rebounding, pulling down 12.9 boards a game.Â
