Julia Feiss was named the BIG EAST Attacker of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. This marks as Feiss' second BIG EAST honor, having been named Attacker of the Week on March 3, 2018.
The Maryland native led the Pioneers to their 18-2 victory over the Louisville Cardinals in the Denver home opener on Saturday, Feb. 16. Feiss earned the second sock trick of her career, totaling six goals, seven points, nine shots and an assist. Of her six goals, three were less than 15-minutes into the contest and five came in the first half alone, her sixth served as the game winner over the Cardinals.
The Crimson and Gold are back in action on Sunday, Feb. 24 at home in Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium, welcoming No. 6 Stony Brook at 10 a.m. MT.
