Carson Gregg brought home two of the four BIG EAST honors, the conference announced Tuesday. Hoch-Bullen was named BIG EAST Attacker of the Week while Gregg tabbed her fifth Defender of the Week accolade.
Hoch-Bullen, the 2018 BIG EAST Co-Freshman of the Year, earned her first Attacker of the Week honor after leading the Pioneers to a 12-9 victory over Georgetown. The Ontario native put away four goals and five points, remaining at the top of the Denver leader board with 35 goals on the year. Gregg tabbed her fifth BIG EAST Defender of the Week title after an exceptional showing against the Hoyas, posting 10 saves, a .562 save percentage and spending all 60-minutes in net for the Pioneers. The five-foot-nine junior currently ranks No. 2 in the NCAA with 6.98 goals-against average, set to finish the season ranked No. 1 in the Denver individual season record book.
The Pioneers are back in action on Thursday, April 11 at home in Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium as they host Fresno State at 2 p.m. MT.
