Pioneer Sign Nine to National Letters of Intent

DENVER - The Denver Pioneers women's lacrosse team signed nine student-athletes to National Letters of Intent, head coach Liza Kelly announced on Friday.
 
The class is comprised of seven midfielders, one attacker and one goalie, boasting a pair of Colorado natives.
 
"We are so excited to welcome the class of 2021 to the Pioneer family," coach Liza Kelly said. "The class excels on the field, in the classroom and throughout their communities. We know these bright stars will soar at Denver."

Why DU: "I fell in love with the campus and its surrounding geography. The coaches and players I met while visiting were people I know I can get along with, all while being out of my comfort zone. I am really excited to get out of the Florida heat and into the cold. The campus is smaller than other colleges I have visited and felt like a place I can call home."
