NEW YORK -- The University of Denver women's lacrosse senior defender Megan Klingenberg was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week honors, the conference announced on Monday.

Klingenberg recorded four ground balls and four caused turnovers in the Pioneers' 11-5 win over Georgetown en-route to their seventh-straight Big East Regular season title.

Klingenberg and the Pioneers will take on fourth-seeded Marquette in the Big East tournament semifinal on April 30th at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.
