Last Time Out
Denver fell 3-0 to Miami with the RedHawks scoring at :40 of the second period and 7:13 of the third period before adding an empty-netter with less than two minutes remaining. Ludvig Persson made 26 saves for Miami. The Pioneers outshot the RedHawks, 26-22. 

Series History
Denver leads the all-time series 19-10-1. The Pioneers are 5-5-0 in their last 10 games against the Broncos having won the last two meetings.

Last Meeting
Denver beat Western Michigan 3-2 on Tuesday. Dec. 15 with Kohen Olischefski's goal at 3:16 of the third period serving as the game-winner. Corbin Kaczperski made 12 saves for the win in his Pioneer debut. Denver outshot the Broncos, 26-14.

What's Next
The Pioneers will play their final game of the NCHC Pod as they take on No. 9 St. Cloud State on Sunday at 3:05 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcast on Altitude and ESPN Denver 1600.

  • Bobby Brink (U.S.) has joined the U.S. National Junior Team for the IIHF World Junior Championship to be played from Dec. 25, 2020 – Jan. 5, 2021 in Edmonton, Alberta. He had one goal and one assist in five games for the Americans at the 2019 WJC
  • The Pioneers are wearing jersey patches with the letters "JB" honoring the late Joy Burns whose vast contributions to DU included becoming the first woman to chair the University of Denver Board of Trustees, which she did for 17 years, making direct contributions to the physical transformation of campus and helping the athletic department move to Division I
