NEW YORK – Molly Little of the University of Denver women's lacrosse team was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the week following her performance in the Pioneers 15-6 victory over Louisville on Saturday, the conference announced on Monday.
This marks the second BIG EAST Defensive Player of the week nod of Little's career, the last one coming on April 23, 2019.
The senior defender led the Pioneers with four draw controls on Saturday, helping limit the Cardinals' offense to just six goals on the day. The Tiverton, R.I. native also added two ground balls while helping force 14 Louisville turnovers.

Bea Behrins was named to the BIG EAST honor roll as she locked in the Pioneers' first sock trick of the season against Louisville, while adding one assist and two draw controls in the Pioneer victory.
