Madison, Wis. - The Denver Pioneers women's tennis team (4-1, 0-0) edged DePaul in a 4-3 win on Saturday in Madison, Wis.
Denver started the match with the doubles point, securing wins from
Taylor Melville/
Hada Chang at #1 and
Toni Nelson/
Tatum Burger at #2. In singles play,
Anna Riedmiller won 6-2, 6-3 at #2,
Britt Pursell won in straight sets at #3, and
Camille Verden-Anderson emerged victorious in a tight 7-5, 6-3 match at #6.
Denver will remain in Madison for its next match against Wisconsin on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 10:00 a.m. MT.
