The Denver Pioneers women's tennis team (4-2, 0-0) dropped a 4-3 decision to the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday in Madison, Wis.
Denver started the match with the doubles point, then proceeded to fall on four of six singles courts to surrender its advantage. On the doubles courts,

Taylor Melville won 6-3 at #1 and
Toni Nelson/
Tatum Burger won 6-2 at #2. On the singles courts, Burger and Anna Reidmiller had the lone wins for the Pioneers with Burger coming from behind to win 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 and Riedmiller topping her opponent 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. Chang and Melville each won a set in their losses.Â
The Pioneers will return home for their next match on Friday, Feb. 14 against Montana. First serve is set for 11 a.m. MT at the Denver Tennis Park.Â
