Match Recap: Women's Tennis |

No. 45 Denver Sweeps ORU in Summit League Opener

DENVER - The No. 45 Denver Pioneers women's tennis team (10-4,0-0) swept Oral Roberts 7-0 for its third straight win and first conference victory on Friday at the Denver Tennis Park.

No. 69 Taylor Mellville/Hada Chang and Camille Verden-Anderson/Anna Riedmiller started the afternoon with 6-1 wins at #1 doubles and #2 doubles, respectively. The Pioneers kept pace in singles play with straight set wins on every court. Tatum Burger dropped only one game with a 6-1, 6-0 win at #4, while Chang won 6-2, 6-0 at #5 and Melville logged a 6-1, 6-1 win at #1. Riedmiller, Britt Pursell and Toni Nelson also picked up wins for Denver.
