Denver to Host BYU and Colorado State in Opening Weekend of 2021 Season

The Pioneers will welcome BYU Friday and Colorado State for a women’s meet on Saturday

When: Friday January 15th (BYU) and Saturday, January 16th (Colorado State)
 
Last Time Out:
Denver won the 2020 Summit League Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships last February before the season came to a halt prior the NCAA Championships due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Series History
Men: The Pioneers are 4-3 since 2010 in duals against BYU. Denver has won three of the last four, including a 167-132 victory last January.
 
Women: Denver's women have won each of the last four duals against BYU, including a 159.5-139.5 victory in Provo last year and a 255-97 win in the last meet between the two programs at El Pomar Natatorium in 2016.

Denver's women have won 12 of the last 18 duals against Colorado State, including each of the last 10 duals. The Pioneers and Rams have met every fall since 2010 until the 2020-21 season was pushed back to January, 2021 due to COVID-19. DU won 200-98 at El Pomar Natatorium in 2019-20.
