LAHAINA, Hawaii – The University of Denver men's golf team closed out day one of the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate on Friday. The Pioneers posted a team score of 283 (1-under) on the round, putting them in a tie for 10th.

- No. 14 Kansas and No. 44 Boise State sit tied at the top of the leader board at 16-under.
- The Broncos Hugo Townsend leads on the individual leader board at 7-under.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:

Carson Griggs led the way on day one for the Pioneers, tying for 13th at 3-under (68).

Brady Arnett finished up the round tied for 36th at with an even-par 71.

Jackson Solem,
Esteban Missura and
Jun Ho Won, competing as an individual, sit tied for 45th at 72.

John Sand tied for 56th 2-over.
