DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball team will continue its five-game homestand that will run the Pioneers through the month of November when they host Wichita State on Monday at 7 p.m. MT in Hamilton Gymnasium. Monday's game is the women's basketball program's "Be Our Guest" night, where fans can attend the game for free.

Denver will take on Colorado State Thursday night at 7 p.m. MT in Hamilton Gymnasium. The Pioneers are 7-11 in their Division I history in the series, but the Rams have taken each of the last eight meetings in the series. Denver's last win in the series was a 50-48 victory in Fort Collins in December of 2012.
Team Notes:
- Head Coach Doshia Woods has a 8-17 record, in her second season in 2021-22.
- Prior to Denver, Woods spent 10 seasons on the Tulane women's basketball staff.
- Denver returns three starters from last year's team. Meghan Boyd and Uju Ezeudu started 20 games apiece, while Anna Jackson started 19 last season.
- The trio combined for 41.4 points and 15.7 rebounds per game.
- The three combined for 39 points in Denver's opener, led by 19 from Ezeudu.
- In the home opener on November 12, the trio combined for 44, led by 17 apiece from Ezeudu and Jackson.
- The Pioneers feature six newcomers, including three freshmen and three transfers.
- Tess Santos had nine points in her Crimson and Gold Debut Tuesday, all in the second quarter, in Denver's loss to Air Force.
- Denver is now 27-19 in home openers in the program's history.
- Denver's Ezeudu had 17 rebounds in the Pioneers home opener on November 12, tied for the fifth most in a game in Denver's Division I history and tied for the fifth most in a game in the country this season (thru Nov. 12).
- The Crimson and Gold were picked fifth in the Summit League Preseason Poll after earning the No. 6 seed in last year's tournament.
- Ezeudu and Boyd were named to the Summit League Preseason Second Team.
