PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Denver Swim and Dive team finished up day one of the Big Al Invite on Friday at the Denunzio Pool.
The Pioneers are one of seven teams in competition along with host Princeton, Utah, George Washington, Rutgers, Columbia and Texas Christian.
The women's swim team finished up third with 172 points. Some standout performances on the day were
Natalie Arky recording the fifth fastest time in school history in the 100 back (53.87, NCAA B Cut),
Aysia Leckie notching the fourth best time in program history in the 50 free (22.75, NCAA B Cut).
For the men,
Marco Nosack posted the eighth all-time fastest time in Pioneer history in the 200 IM (1:47.87) and
Dylan Wright locking up the seventh fastest time in the school history in the 500 free (4:23.90).
Darragh Mahns tied the eighth fastest school time in the 50 free (20.12).
Diving
Ammar Hassan placed fourth in the 1m dive (307.40).
