Denver with season-best finish overall as a team this year
MIDWAY, UTAH – The University of Denver Skiing team wrapped up the RMISA Invitational at Westminster & Soldier Hollow on Tuesday. The Pioneers recorded 93 points (48 women, 45 men) in the Nordic Freestyle races at the Soldier Hollow Nordic Center.
Significant Stats:
- Hanna Ray was the high finisher for DU on the day, taking 17th (17 points) in the women's 10K Freestyle.
- Emma Larsson placed 18th (16 points).
- Vera Norli was right behind her two teammates, taking 19th (15 points) in the race.
- Gracie Shanley finished 23rd and Sadie Cotton 27th.
- On men's side, Borgar Norrud led the charge with an 18th-place finish (16 points), with fellow teammates Ole Marius Kirkeng (19th, 15 points) and Bernhard Flaschberger (20th, 14 points) right behind in the 15K Freestyle.
- Jimmy Colfer placed 25th, while Evan Barbier took 30th
- DU finished with a team total of 477.5 points, good for fourth place.
