Mayfield and Two Former Pioneer Coaches Begin Stanley Cup Semis Sunday

Scott Mayfield and the New York Islanders begin the third round of the playoffs Sunday at 1 p.m. MT

DENVER – Denver Pioneers hockey team alum Scott Mayfield and former Pioneer coaches Derek Lalonde (Tampa Bay Lightning) and Dave Rogowski (Vegas Golden Knights) begin their third round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs this week, eight wins away from lifting the cup.

In his first 12 games of the playoffs, Mayfield has a goal and four assists, 11 penalty minutes and has posted a +12 rating to lead the league through the first two rounds.
