Molly Little to continue lacrosse career this summer

DENVER – University of Denver All-American Molly Little will continue her lacrosse career at the professional level as she has joined Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse, the league announced this week.

Little was named to the second team after her well-rounded fifth year. She captained one of the top defenses in the country in 2021, picking up 37 ground balls and causing 30 turnovers in the 18-game campaign. Little also picked up 56 draw controls and got involved in transition as well, recording 13 points on eight goals and five assists, including her first career hat trick in the NCAA Second Round at Northwestern. The 2021 BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year picked up a season-high six ground balls in Denver's overtime win over UConn on April 9 and forced a season-best four CTs in the series opener against Georgetown.
