COLORADO SPRINGS – The University of Denver men's golf team wrapped up its first tournament of the year on Sunday, taking third at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational. The Pioneers posted a 54-hole team score of 856 (8-under).

Significant Stats:
- The Pioneers 3.03 scoring average on par 3s was the lowest by any team in the field.
- UC Davis separated from the field, winning the team title with a score of 33-under, 24 strokes ahead of the runner up.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:

Jackson Solem got his final season off to a solid start, tying for fifth at 8-under with a final-round 72 on Sunday.

John Sand rose up 10 spots to tie for 18th at 1-under after a second straight day of carding a 70.

Jun Ho Won tied for 22nd after a strong final round of 71 put his three-day total at 1-over.

Carson Griggs jumped up to a tie for 22nd with a second-round 70 (2-under).

Esteban Missura and
Carson Griggs tied for 33rd at 4-over.
