Denver Heads to Oral Roberts Saturday Afternoon

The Pioneers close out quick two-game road swing in Tulsa

TULSA  – The University of Denver women's basketball team will close out a two-game Summit League road weekend with a trip to Oral Roberts Saturday at 2 p.m. CT/ 1 p.m. MT.

Who: Denver (6-15, 1-9 Summit) vs. Oral Roberts (10-10, 5-4 Summit)
What: Game 22 of the 2021-22 Season
Where: Mabee Center (Tulsa, Okla.)
When: January 29, 2022 – 1 p.m. MT
 
Last Time Out:
Junior Uju Ezeudu became the fastest player to reach 1,000 career points in Denver's Division I history, but the DU women's basketball team fell to Kansas City 72-54 on Thursday night in the Swinney Center. FULL RECAP
 
Series History:
The Pioneers are 6-10 in their Division I history against Oral Roberts, with the Golden Eagles taking each of the last two meetings. Prior to ORU winning the series finale last year and the opener this year, Denver had won back-to-back games in the series by double digits.

Denver returns to Hamilton Gymnasium next week to host the North Dakota schools. The Pioneers will take on UND on Thursday at 7 p.m. MT on National Girls and Women in Sports Night, presented by Safeway.
