McSwain defended her 2021 Defensive Player of the Year award by playing the full 90 minutes in every match this season – the only Pioneer to do so – and added a goal and an assist at Oral Roberts. She helped lead DU to a program record-tying zero shots on goal allowed on August 18, as well as only two goals allowed at home in the regular season. This is the third year McSwain was named to an All-Summit League Team and the second time to the first team.

Feller extended her streak of earning first-team honors to five, doing so in every year of her career. Despite missing the final two matches of the regular season, she had at least a share of the team lead in assists (six) and points (18), and was tied for second most goals scored (six). On October 16, she earned the 100th point of her career and moved into the top five in DU history for game winners with her two-goal performance at Colorado State.

Glover captured a spot on the first team for the second straight season and has earned annual recognition every year in her career (All-Summit League Second Team in 2020 and All-Freshman Team in 2019). She led Denver with 33 shots in the regular season including five shots in four of DU's final six matches. At South Dakota, she scored twice and added an assist for a the most individual points earned in a single match by a DU player this season.

MacMillan landed on the All-Summit League team for the second time in her career and the first time since a season-ending injury during the COVID-delayed 2020 season. Her eight goals led Denver in the regular season, and she finished with the team's third most points (17) – both career bests. She also added a career-high 15 shots on goal off 25 total shots, playing in every match in the regular season and starting in all but one.

Arrazola captured All-Summit League honors for the second year in a row. The two-time Defensive Peak Performer of the Week started every match for DU and helped lead Denver to a total of eight shutouts. She also conceded only two goals at home the entire season – and only one in League play. This season, she moved into the top five in DU Division I history for goalkeeper wins (41) and shutouts (27).

Baker became a mainstay in Denver's backfield, playing in 17 matches including 14 starts before missing the final match with an injury. She matched her personal best of three assists and added four shots, half of which were on target. Her 1117 minutes played is a new career high, improving on her freshman campaign in which she was named to the All-Newcomer Team.

Crockett earned the first All-Summit League Team honor of her career after playing in every match this season including making starts in the final 15 matches of the regular season. The junior contributed two assists, both in League matches, and had seven total shots. For the first time in her career, she played the full 90 minutes, doing so twice in 2022.

Hyrup made the move to forward midway through the season for Denver and started in the final six matches of the regular season. Since making the switch, she scored three times including the game winner at South Dakota. Beginning with that October 2 match, she had at least one point in five straight matches and logged eight of her 10 total shots on the season. This is the first All-Summit League Team award of her career.

Gallegos landed on an All-Summit League Team for the first time since earning a place on the All-Newcomer Team in 2019. She started in every match of the season for Denver, playing at least 80 minutes in all but three matches and in the full 90 minutes nine times. In DU's Summit League opener against North Dakota State, she scored the game winner and added an assist against Omaha.

Hooker claimed Summit League Coach of the Year honors for the fifth time and the second straight season after coaching Denver to its seventh Summit League regular season title. He helped lead Denver to its sixth straight season with double-digit wins and earned the 400th win in his career. In total, he has now earned Coach of the Year recognition 14 times in his 31 seasons as DU's head coach (Summit League – 5; Sun Belt – 5; CAC – 2; WAC – 1; Great Plains Region – 1).

Denver is the No. 1 seed for the 2022 Summit League Women's Soccer Championship, which begins with a quarterfinal match between No. 4 Oral Roberts and No. 5 North Dakota State in Denver on Friday, October 28, at 4 p.m. MT.
