SAN DIEGO – The University of Denver men's tennis team went 2-2 in its final four singles matches at the San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic, hosted by the University of San Diego and the U.S. Naval Academy, on Sunday.
Freshman
Danilo Raicevic got back on track with a win over Luke Garner, finishing the match in straight sets after an extended tiebreak. Junior
Charlie Miller also notched a win, starting with a bagel in the first set and pushing the third set to a tiebreak where he was leading 4-3 when his opponent was forced to retire with an injury.
Graduate student
Conner Olsen also forced a third set but lost while sophomore
Relja Eskic lost in two sets after a tight tiebreak in the first set.

Denver is back on the road next week, traveling to Albuquerque for the ITA Regional Championships from October 13-17, 2022.
