PREVIEW: Pioneers Off to the Big Easy for Thanksgiving MTE

Denver to face IUPUI, The Citadel and New Orleans from Nov. 23-25

DENVER  – The University of Denver Men's Basketball team looks to continue to build on its solid start to the year, heading down south to New Orleans for a Thanksgiving Multi-Team Event (MTE). The Pioneers will play IUPUI, The Citadel and host New Orleans over the course of three days starting on Nov. 23.

Series History
• This is the 10th meeting in the all-time series.
• The Jaguars hold a 5-4 advantage, but Denver has a two-game winning streak.
• The two teams last met on Nov. 15, 2021, a 63-47 victory at UTSA.
• This is the second meeting in the all-time series against The Citadel.
• The Pioneers have won the only contest, a 70-58 victory on Dec. 22, 2011 at Magness Arena.
• This is the 29th meeting in the all-time series against New Orleans.
• The Privateers hold a 20-8 advantage, but Denver has a four-game winning streak in the series.
• The two teams last met on Nov. 30, 2014, a 79-60 victory in Magness Arena.
