DENVER – The University of Denver men's tennis team has revealed its 2023 regular-season schedule, which is set to begin January 14.
Denver will host 11 matches in 2023 including Summit League clashes against Drake (April 2) and Omaha (April 14). DU will also welcome in-state opponents in Air Force (February 3) and Metro State (February 17). The February 17 match against Metro State is the first of a home double-header for DU, which will also face off against Utah State later in the day.
The Pioneers will begin their season on January 14 with a trip to Southern Methodist, which finished the 2022 season ranked No. 28 nationally. Also on Denver's schedule is a trip to Utah, which held a No. 32 ranking at the end of last season.
DU finished the 2022 season ranked No. 65 in the final ITA rankings. James Davis represented Denver at the 2022 NCAA National Championships in singles, falling in the first round.
