La Quinta, Calif. – The University of Denver men's golf team closed out the opening round of The Prestige tournament on Thursday. The Pioneers shot a team score of 306, 22-over for the day.

Significant Stats:
- No. 18 Vanderbilt and No. 48 Oregon sit tied a top the leader board at 3-over.
- Davis Bryant Reid Davenport lead the individual leader board at 2-over.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:

Jackson Solem was DU's top finisher, tying for 32nd after one round at 3-over.

Esteban Missura closed out his afternoon in a tie for 32nd at 3-over.

Carson Griggs ended his day at 8-over with fellow teammate
John Sand.

Brady Arnett shot a 12-over for his round.
