[54] Pios Head to Lubbock This Weekend to Take on [28] Tulsa and [50] TTU

DENVER – The University of Denver men's tennis team will head to Lubbock, Texas, this weekend for a pair of matches, starting with a Friday afternoon neutral site match against Tulsa before the Pioneers take on hosts Texas Tech on Saturday at 12 p.m. MT at the McLeod Tennis Center.   
 
Last Time Out:
The Pioneers took all seven points from in-state foe Metro State last Saturday at the Denver Tennis Park. FULL RECAP
 
Series History:
Tulsa: 
Denver is 0-1 all-time against Tulsa, falling 8-1 in 2000 in Tulsa.
 
Texas Tech: 
The Pioneers are 1-6 against the Red Raiders, and this weekend will mark the first meeting since the 2014 season. Denver's only win in the series came in 2007, a 5-2 victory in Lubbock.
 
UP NEXT: Following the weekend in Lubbock, the Pioneers will head to Eugene to take on Oregon. First serve is set for 6 p.m. MT.
