DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball team will hit the road for the final time in the 2021-22 regular season as the Pioneers make the South Dakota trip with their first stop being in Brookings to take on the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. Thursday's tip is set for 7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. MT.

Last Time Out:
Denver's defense was the story the last time out as the Pioneers held a Division I opponent under 50 points for the first time since December 7, 2017 in the Pioneers 62-48 win over North Dakota State last Saturday in Hamilton Gymnasium.
Makayla Minett led the defensive effort with seven blocks (T-3 in Denver's DI history) and 14 rebounds.
Meghan Boyd led the Pioneers with 17, one of three to finish in double figures for the Pioneers.

Series History:
Denver is 2-14 against South Dakota State. The Jackrabbits won the first meeting in the series in Hamilton back in January, nearly two years after the Pioneers won the meeting prior to that 72-62 in Brookings.
