STANFORD, Calif. – The University of Denver men's golf team finished up its first round at The Goodwin on Thursday. The Pioneers shot a team score of 288 (8-over) on the day.

- No. 14 Stanford leads the 28-team field at 12-under.
- Kristopher Stiles of San Jose State and Barclay Brown from the Cardinal sit atop the individual leader board at 6-under each.
- The Pioneers are in 23rd in the team standings.
Inside the Round for the Pioneers:

Esteban Missura led the Pioneers with a 1-under on day one, tying him for 40th.

Brady Arnett posted a 2-over 72 on the day, putting him in a tie for 87th.

Alex Gibalevich shot a 1-over 73 in the morning, good for a tie for 99th.

Jackson Solem closed out his round with a 4-over 74.

Carson Griggs fired a 5-over 75 on day one.
