DENVER – The University of Denver gymnastics team finished the 2022 season ranked No. 13 in the final Road to Nationals rankings, which were released on Monday.
DU moved up two spots in the national rankings from its final regular season ranking.
DENVER'S FINAL 2022 RANKINGS
Overall: No. 13 (394.185 NQS)
Vault: No. 22 (49.180)
Bars: No. 12 (49.370)
Beam: No. 7 (49.395)
Final team rankings are determined by teams' scores at NCAA Nationals or NCAA Regionals, which is added to their final National Qualifying Score (NQS) from the regular season. For Denver, the team's 197.225 from the NCAA Regional Final on April 2 is added to its final regular-season NQS of 196.960.
Final team event and individual rankings are determined solely by final NQSs from before NCAA Regionals.
Denver has now finished ranked inside the top 15 nationally in eight consecutive seasons and extends the streak of ranking in the top 15 in every year under Joy S. Burns Head Women's Gymnastics Coach

DU's No. 13 final ranking is the team's eighth best finish in school history, and its 196.960 NQS ranks fifth in the Denver record books.
For the fourth year in a row, Denver will finish inside the top eight nationally on beam by way of its No. 7 final ranking. The beam squads final NQS of 49.370 is DU's third highest all time.
DU finished No. 12 in the country on bars with 2022's final NQS of 49.370, which sits fourth best in program history.
Denver's 49.180 NQS on vault is the ninth highest in school history and secured its 13
th straight top-25 final ranking on the event.
