DENVER – The [18/18] University of Denver men's lacrosse program, presented by
Your Hometown Toyota Stores, will head to the nation's capital this weekend, opening the 2022 BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Tournament against [RV/RV] Villanova in the first of two semifinals at Cooper Field on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. MT.

Jack Hannah became the fastest midfielder to 100 career goals in program history, leading the Pioneers past Marquette in-front of a sold-out crowd of 2,969 at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium, the second-highest crowd in the history of the stadium.

DI Series History vs. Villanova
Denver is 15-3 all-time against Villanova, having won each of the last four and 14 of the last 15 meetings between the two programs. Earlier this season at Villanova, Denver won 12-10, overcoming a goal halftime deficit with a 4-1 run to start the second half.
