USAF ACADEMY, CO --The Denver volleyball team walked away with a 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-22, 25-15) over the Air Force Falcons Thursday on the road at Falcon Court at East Gym.

The non-conference win improved Denver's overall record to 4-5 on the season.

Jordan Lockwood finished with 13 kills on the day to lead the Pioneers offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .429. got 9 digs from Gianna Bartalo along with five blocks from Brianna Green to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Pioneers jumped out to an early lead, handily winning the first set 25-19. Denver never trailed by more than five points and grabbed the advantage for good at 17-16 in a set that showcased four lead changes before the Pioneers took over in the second half of the stanza.

SET 2 | After their win in the first set, Denver put themselves on the cusp of a sweep with a 25-22 victory in set number two. The Pioneers grabbed the advantage for good at 18-17 in a set that had just one lead change before the Pioneers took over in the second half of the stanza. Denver's front row had a solid defensive performance, blocking four Air Force attacks in the stanza.

SET 3 | Denver took set three to sweep the match 3-0. The Pioneers grabbed control of the set early when the score was 4-3 and never trailed to win 25-15. Denver ended on a strong note, opening up its biggest lead of the stanza, 10 points, to finish off the set.
