Denver outshot Oral Roberts 20-2, including 6-0 on target en-route to a 1-0 Summit League-opening victory on Saturday night at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. Sophomore Oje Ofunrein netted his second goal in as many matches in the victory. FULL RECAP

QUICK HITS:

• Denver is 8-2-2 in its Division I history against Omaha, and 1-1-1 at Caniglia Field. The two programs have met in the Summit League final four times since 2016 (Denver 3-0-1).  
• Saturday marks the sixth meeting between the two programs when Denver has been ranked in the national polls (4-0-1).
• Denver has student-athletes from 12 different states and four other countries. The 12 states represented is Denver's most on a single roster in its Division I history.
• The Crimson and Gold have 11 players from the state of Colorado, including regular starters Sam Bassett, Jason Belloli, Stefan DeLeone, captain Liam Johnson, Isaac Nehme, Ben Smith, captain Ian Smith and Trevor Wright.
• DU has played seven of its nine scheduled matches against teams that finished in the Top-100 of the RPI a year ago. The Pioneers are 3-2-2 in those matches this season.
