DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball program will look to bounce back from Thursday's loss when the Pioneers head to North Dakota on Saturday afternoon, tipping off at 12 p.m. MT in the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.

SERIES HISTORY:
North Dakota has a 5-4 edge in the series, with the Fighting Hawks winning each of the last three meetings. The last four meetings have been within five points at the end of regulation, with two going to overtime (1-1). North Dakota won 80-75 in Grand Forks last January
LAST TIME OUT – Denver 43, North Dakota State 71
Denver got 20 points off the bench, but couldn't cut into the halftime deficit, falling to North Dakota State 71-43 on Thursday night at the Scheels Center.
The Pioneers (7-9, 3-2) had two players score in double figures, led by
Ally Haar, who had 12 points.
Jojo Jones tacked on 10 points from the bench and
Emma Smith added four points, seven rebounds and three steals.
NOTES:
- Freshman Emma Smith leads the Pioneers in scoring, averaging 13.1 points per game.
- The Pioneers have made 134 three-pointers this season.
- Denver ranks 20th in the country in three-point attempts per game (26.2) and 26th in the country in three-point makes per game (8.4).
