DENVER – The University of Denver women's soccer team has signed redshirt freshman
Emma Thielbahr for the 2024 soccer season, head coach
Julianne Sitch announced on Wednesday.
Thielbahr joins Denver after spending her first two collegiate seasons at the University of San Diego. After missing her freshman season in 2022 with an injury, she made her debut for USD in 2023, playing in eight matches and starting in three. She played 326 total minutes as part of the Toreros' back line including the full 90 against New Mexico on August 31.
The Sandpoint, Indiana, native will be one of five newcomers to Denver's 2024 squad after the team
signed four incoming freshmen in November.
DU is coming off a 2023 season that saw Denver collect its fifth-consecutive and eighth overall Summit League regular-season title.
