DENVER – The University of Denver men's basketball program will open a two games in three-day stretch before the eight-day holiday break on Monday night when the Pioneers welcome Adams State to Hamilton Gymnasium. Tip on the Summit League Network and 104.3 The Fan HD3 is set for 7 p.m. MT.

SERIES HISTORY:
The two programs have not met since Denver joined the Division I ranks in 1998-99. The two did meet the season prior. A series that started in 1979-80, Denver leads 15-4.
BRUNER LEADING DENVER IN NATIONAL STATISTICAL RANKINGS
- Tommy Bruner ranks third in the country in points per game (23.2), 5th in free-throws made (70), 14th in field goals made (77), 47th in three-point field goal percentage (42.5) and 51st in three-pointers made per game (2.82).
- Touko Tainamo ranks 23rd in free-throw attempts (71) and 21st in free-throws made (54).
- Jaxon Brenchley is 10th in the country in assist/turnover ratio (4.0).
- Denver entered last weekend 16th in the country in free-throw attempts per game (26.5) and 14th in free-throw makes per game (19.4).
- As a team, the Pioneers are 43rd in scoring offense (82.4), 86th in rebounds per game (38.9) and 11th in turnovers per game (9.3).
DOUBLE DIGIT WORKLOAD:
Tommy Bruner leads the Pioneers with 83 career games in double figures, including 13-straight contests spanning back to the end of last season. Touko Tainamo is the next closest Pioneer with 37 games in double figures, including in eight of the 11 games for Denver this season.
100 GAMES PLAYED:
Both fifth-year guard Tommy Bruner and graduate student transfer Jaxon Brenchley have crossed the century mark in games played in their NCAA career this season.
